This project is a detailed study in creating a photorealistic 3D model of a contemporary living room sofa, with a specific focus on advanced digital sculpting and cloth simulation. The objective was to produce a "digital twin" of a physical product, achieving a level of realism suitable for high-end furniture catalogs, advertising, and architectural visualization.
The process involved modeling the sofa's core structure and then employing sophisticated sculpting and simulation techniques to create the natural, soft appearance of the cushions and the intricate, realistic folds of the throw blanket. The included wireframe shots are presented to showcase the clean, professional-grade topology of the underlying asset.
