Designing For The Mood

Designing for the mood, the concept for a pagan spiritual space involves creating different experiential moods during the day and night. The overall theme of the space can be further divided into daytime and nighttime scenes. Due to the absence of openings and the use of material roughness, the space encourages a sense of confinement and self-concentration by providing a focal point that is not overly distracting. The vertical columns and horizontal beams, in conjunction with both natural and artificial lighting, enhance the sense of eternal grandness and instill this feeling in the occupants, creating a unique and distinct mood depending on the time of day.
